Roon 1.8 Update: Even More Personalized Playlists and Better Search

There are so many playlists in modern streaming: according to personal preferences, days of the week, friends’ opinions or the weather – so Roon in the Roon 1.8 update (build 806) decided to contribute to the general stream. Now personalized Daily Mixes playlists, of which Tidal and Qobuz users will receive 6 each, consists of tracks from 25 favorite (and potentially favorite) artists.

If this is not enough and the Roon user still wants to find something on his own, the search functions have been improved in update 1.8. And this applies not only to the interface, but also to the autocomplete function that appeared in the update.

In addition, the update will completely change the Tidal page (top charts, the latest MQA playlists, Tidal’s “Mixes for you” feature, and more) will be available. IOS users will be able to apply back and forth gestures. The Bootleg section has moved from From My Library to the Artist Overview.

Summer version of Roon 1.8 is already available on the official website.
