Questyle M12: Mobile DAC made for the 5G era

The company envisions the Questyle M12 mobile headphone DAC to provide “lossless mobile music in the 5G era.” The novelty is the result of cooperation between Questyle and ESS, as evidenced by their logos on the case in black or silver.

According to Questyle, the result exceeded all expectations. Like other products from the company, the miniature M12 uses proprietary Current Mode Amplification technology. The distortion level of 0.0003% is declared for the novelty. In addition, the M12 automatically adjusts to the headphone impedance ranging from 16 to 600 ohms. According to the manufacturer, the intelligent headphone recognition system is responsible for this.

The digital part of the model handles PCM up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD256. In addition, the M12 supports MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) rendering. The novelty is compatible not only with mobile devices running Android 5.1 and higher, but also with Mac OS and Windows 10 computers – and no drivers are required.

In the US, the Questyle M12 mobile headphone DAC is already on sale for $ 140.
