The Austrian company Pro-Ject Audio has released a new model of the budget record player E1 , available in three versions – regular, with built-in phono stage and built-in Bluetooth module.

Otherwise, all three versions are identical. The Pro-Ject E1 is a belt driven turntable with electronically selectable 33.3 and 45 rpm speeds. The turntable is equipped with a tonearm on a cardan support 8.6 inches long with an aluminum tube, a complete pickup is an Ortofon OM 5E MM head with an elliptical stylus.

The main platter of the player is made of reinforced polymer, the engine is attached to the body through special gaskets to reduce vibration. The body of the turntable is made of composite fiber board, the total weight of the turntable is 3.5 kg . The model is available in several finishes – black, white and walnut.

The Pro-Ject E1 turntable is £269 for the base version, £299 for the Pro – Ject E1 Phono and £ 369 for the Pro – Ject E1 BT .
