Technics has announced the release of its popular SL-1500C turntable in white design. Designated as the SL-1500C-W , it not only sports a stylish matte white tabletop finish, but also comes with a factory-installed moving magnet (MM) Ortofon 2M Red cartridge – all you have to do is attach the cartridge-mounted shell to the S-shaped aluminum tonearm, made with precision precision.
As in black and silver versions, the Technics SL-1500C-W player is equipped with a built-in phono stage and two outputs on RCA connectors – phono for connecting an external phono stage and line.
The Technics SL-1500C-W turntable uses a direct drive with a powerful motor equipped with an electronic control system and a double-layer platter that reliably isolates the record from external vibrations. Additional protection is provided by special supports that mechanically decouple the player’s body from the mounting surface.
The Technics SL-1500C-W turntable in white finish will be available in May 2023. In Great Britain the recommended retail price of the turntable will be £999.
