Network Acoustics Updates eno2 Ethernet Filter

Network Acoustics Updates eno2 Ethernet Filter

In 2020, Network Acoustics introduced its passive Ethernet filter, the original eno, and now the British brand has introduced the second generation of the accessory, the Network Acoustics eno 2 , designed to take full advantage of the 1 Gbps connection. According to the manufacturer, the new product removes more noise from the Ethernet signal than the original eno.

Network Acoustics eno2 Ethernet filter

The Network Acoustics eno2 Ethernet filter features the proprietary so-called eight-core filtering system, first used in the Muon Pro Ethernet filter. The new product is housed in an aluminum housing, CNC-milled from a single block. The thickness of the housing walls is specially calculated for optimal shielding of radio frequency and electromagnetic interference. The filter can be supplied with proprietary Ethernet 1Gb/s eno2 Streaming Cables of 0.75 and 1.5 meters in length, developed using the latest noise suppression technology.

According to Network Acoustics, the eno2 filter cleans all eight conductors of a standard Ethernet cable, while 100Mbps filters only clean four, leaving the rest unprocessed.

“The overwhelming and often emotional response we received to the original eno filter showed us how much joy it brought to our customers’ lives. It also had a profound impact on ours. With eno 2, we have stayed true to the values of the original while applying everything we have learned over the last four years. The result is a new filter capable of delivering the sound our ears crave: analogue smoothness, richness, depth of tone and dynamic excitement that are so difficult to achieve through digital music,” said Rob Osbourn , co-owner of Network Acoustics.

  Ethernet Cable eno2 Streaming Cable

The Network Acoustics eno 2 Ethernet filter is now available for purchase. In the UK, the new product can be purchased for £995 . The 1.5m eno 2 Streaming Cable will cost £795 . A kit that includes the Network Acoustics eno2 Ethernet filter, as well as two 1.5m and 0.75m cables, can be purchased for £1,395 .
