NAD C 700: New BluOS Streaming Amplifier

NAD C 700 BluOS Streaming Amplifier
NAD C 700 BluOS Streaming Amplifier

Inside the rugged and stylish aluminum housing is a HybridDigital UcD stereo amplifier and BluOS-enabled network streamer that deviate from the traditional NAD styling. By enabling BluOS in the app, you can simply listen to music from your digital library or stream from internet radio and online services such as Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Tidal and Qobuz.

The smooth glass front panel displays album art, track status and system settings from a high-resolution 5-inch color display. Amplifier settings can be adjusted from any existing proprietary remote control.

The design of the UcD amplifier is distinguished, according to the manufacturer, by ultra-low noise and distortion over the entire frequency range, regardless of the load. Using proven NAD HybridDigital UcD amplifier technology, the C 700 can deliver 2x80W of continuous power and 2x120W of instantaneous power.

The C 700 also has a subwoofer output, and the bass and treble crossover settings in the BluOS app provide crossover between the subwoofer and the main speakers. The rear panel has two pairs of analog RCA inputs and coaxial and optical digital inputs for connecting disc players, game consoles, media adapters and other components.

There’s also an HDMI eARC port for connecting an HDMI ARC-enabled HDTV, which also allows you to control the C 700’s volume from your TV’s remote control.

The presence of aptX HD Bluetooth allows you to listen through wireless headphones and stream from any compatible device.
