The American company Music Hall introduced two new components in the budget segment of audio equipment – an integrated amplifier A 25.3 with a DAC unit and a Bluetooth adapter and a CD player CD 25.3 .
The output transistor stages of the integrated amplifier Music Hall A 25.3 operate in class AB and develop up to 50 watts when driven into an 8 ohm load in each channel. When the resistance is reduced to 4 ohms, the output power increases to 75 watts. The power supply of the amplifier is based on a powerful toroidal power transformer.
The Music Hall A25.3 Integrated Amplifier is equipped with a phono stage capable of working with moving magnet (MM) cartridges. In addition, there is a DAC unit with an optical input and a Bluetooth adapter for wirelessly streaming music from mobile gadgets. To connect analog sources, there are two line inputs on RCA connectors, as well as a pre-amplifier output for use with an external power amplifier or active acoustics. On the front panel of Music Hall A25.3 there is a 6.3 mm jack for connecting headphones and an analog input on a 3.5 mm mini jack for working with a portable player or smartphone.
An organic partner for the Music Hall A25.3 integrated amplifier will be the new Music Hall CD 25.3 CD player , although the novelty can also be connected to an amplifier from another manufacturer. The player is based on the Sanyo HD850 optical disc transport and ESS Technology’s ESS9018 audiophile DAC chip capable of processing PCM digital streams up to 32bit/384kHz. The Music Hall A25.3 CD player is housed in a rigid metal case with vibration-proof mounts that guarantee reliable reading of information from an optical disc.
The Music Hall A 25.3 integrated amplifier and the Music Hall CD 25.3 CD player are already on sale. In the US, the suggested retail price for each component was $649 .
