Luxury & Precision has launched a new portable digital-to-analog converter and headphone amplifier W4 EX .
The DAC block in the model is built on the proprietary LP5108EX chipset , supplemented with five digital filters. In addition, the model has several built-in equalizer presets. By default, the user can use two sound settings from Luxury & Precision – the Tune01 curve provides a soft and soulful sound, while the Tune02 has a more detailed and refined delivery.
To connect headphones, the device has a balanced 4.4 mm output and an unbalanced 3.5 mm output . The output power is 220mW and 110mW , respectively. Two switchable gain levels are available to the user. The front panel has a 0.91-inch OLED display .
