Luxury & Precision has released a new digital-to-analog converter and headphone amplifier W4 , built on a chip of its own design.
The proprietary LP5108 chip combines support for 32bit/384kHz PCM streams and low power native DSD256 . For those who like to customize the sound according to their preferences, there are two sound profiles, five digital filters and many equalizer settings.
4.4 mm and 3.5 mm outputs are provided for connecting headphones, the latter can also be used to output a digital stream in SPDIF format. Output power is 110 mW unbalanced and 420 mW balanced. The device is enclosed in an aluminum case, on the front panel there is a small monochrome OLED display.
