JC Acoustics UDP-6P is a desktop digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and headphone amplifier that incorporates advanced technologies for accurate sound processing and user-friendly operation. It features dual ES9039SPRO DACs, ensuring exceptional detail and authentic audio playback. The headphone amplifier can output up to 7500 mW (at 32 ohms) via a balanced 4.4 mm output, enabling users to fully utilize the capabilities of a wide range of headphones.
The architecture is meticulously designed to maintain signal integrity from the DAC to the amplifier output. The line outputs utilize the OPA1642 operational amplifier, ensuring a smooth and precise audio experience. It features USB, coaxial, optical, and IIS-LVDS inputs, allowing compatibility with a wide range of audio sources.
Power supply is managed by a 60 VA transformer equipped with a class A iron core and copper winding, complemented by a filter capacity of 30,000 μF. This configuration guarantees a stable and low-noise power supply for all components.
The USB input accommodates PCM playback up to 768 kHz / 32 bit and DSD512, while the coaxial and optical inputs support PCM formats up to 192 kHz / 24 bit. For headphone connectivity, both a balanced 4.4 mm output and a standard 6.35 mm output are available. The line outputs include XLR and RCA connections for interfacing with external amplifiers or speaker systems.
The chassis is constructed from aluminum with a mirror-polished and sandblasted finish, providing both protection and an elegant aesthetic. Control is facilitated through a 3-inch IPS display with vibrant colors and wide viewing angles, along with a remote control for convenience.
