Hidizs S9 Pro: Portable DAC and headphone amplifier

Hidizs announced the release of a new version of its popular budget DAC the S9 , which received the suffix Pro . The Hidizs S9 Pro is based on the ES9038Q2M chip from ESS Saber .

Hidizs S9 Pro

The device is equipped with two headphone jacks – balanced 2.5 mm and unbalanced 3.5 mm. The output signal level at the balanced output is 200 mW , at the unbalanced one – 100 mW . The body of the gadget is machined from aluminum, and the built-in LED indicator allows you to find out the sampling frequency of the supplied signal. The DAC can work with PCM signals up to 32/768 and native DSD512 stream; connection to the signal source is made via the USB-C port.

The Hidizs S9 Pro portable DAC and headphone amplifier will retail for $ 119 .
