Flux Lab Acoustics has introduced the Mentor headphone amplifier , designed in a dual-mono concept with two-block synchronization capability. The amplifier is equipped with separate power supplies for each channel, including separate power toroidal transformers. The power supply uses four high-capacity Cornell Dubilier capacitors, which are capable of delivering significant current and have low output impedance.

The input stages of the Flux Mentor amplifier are built on J-Fet transistors, and the output stages are built on bipolar transistors, developing sufficient power even for the most demanding headphones. Volume control is entrusted to a 64-step relay attenuator. The amplifier uses a high quality UP-OFC power cable connecting the input power connector to the power transformers. The Flux Mentor output uses Ohno monocrystalline copper cable (UP-OCC).

For the most demanding audiophiles, Flux Lab Acoustics has developed synchronization technology that allows two Flux Mentor amplifiers to be connected together to produce even more power. Each channel of such a combination operates in fully balanced mode – just select the main and slave amplifiers to synchronize the volume levels.
