Emotiva BasX MR1L Junior AV Receiver with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X

Emotiva has expanded its line of multi-channel home theater receivers – following the 11.2-channel model Emotiva BasX MR1  , it introduced the younger 9.2-channel model Emotiva BasX MR 1 L.

The new product is based on a powerful 13.2-channel Analog Devices SHARC DSP surround sound processor and a 9-channel audiophile-quality power amplifier operating in class AB. The power supply uses a large 660VA toroidal transformer. The receiver supports modern 3D cinema soundtrack formats Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

The video section of the Emotiva BasX MR1L receiver supports 4K UHD video, HDR10 high dynamic range and Dolby Vision. Switching arsenal of new items includes six HDMI 2.0b input ports and two output ports, one of which supports the eARC audio return channel .

In addition, the unit is equipped with a multi-channel 13.2 pre-out, which allows you to use the Emotiva BasX MR1L as an AV processor by adding external power amplifiers to the system. Moreover, you yourself can determine how much to use the receiver’s built-in amplifiers and whether to use them at all, which provides a wide margin for maneuver when configuring a home theater system.
