Opera Audio introduced the AMP 150 transistor stereo integrated amplifier under the Consonance brand with a built-in network player and a DAC unit. For integration into a home computer network, you can use both wired Ethernet switching and a wireless Wi-Fi channel. The novelty also supports live music streaming from mobile gadgets via Bluetooth.
The built-in streamer is capable of playing content from popular network services such as Spotify, Tidal and qobuz. The Consonance AMP150 is certified by Roon and can be integrated into its ecosystem.
The integrated amplifier Consonance AMP150 can also work with external digital sources – a coaxial digital SPDIF input is provided for their connection. In addition to the Ethernet port and Wi-Fi, the built-in network player is capable of playing content from external USB drives, for connecting which there are four USB-A 2.0 ports on the rear panel. To connect analog sources, two pairs of unbalanced RCA connectors and balanced XLR inputs are provided. The input switch is implemented on audiophile relays with gold contacts.
The Consonance AMP150 integrated amplifier delivers up to 105 watts per channel when driven into an 8 ohm load and up to 170 watts into a 4 ohm load. At the same time, the damping coefficient of the amplifier exceeds 1,000, which allows the new product to confidently control the heaviest acoustics in terms of impedance.
