Cayin has launched a new portable DAC and headphone amplifier with RU7 balanced output .

The main feature of the model is that the digital-to-analogue converter unit in it is made on a resistive matrix of its own design. The DAC can handle digital PCM signals up to 384kHz sampling rate and native DSD 256 streaming . A USB-C port is used to send a signal , headphone and line outputs are organized on 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm jacks .

On the side panel there are physical keys for switching operating modes and volume keys, a small display shows the level and parameters of the signal, as well as the output involved. The body of the device is machined from a solid billet of aluminum and has dimensions of 66 x 24 x 12 mm and weighs 25 grams . The package also includes a green protective case.
