NuPrime Omnia A300 – DAC, Integrated Amplifier and Streamer

NuPrime introduced a new universal device the Omnia the A300 , combining the integrated amplifier in class D, digital to analog converter and network player.

One of the main advantages of the model is its compactness. With dimensions of 280 x 55 x 250 mm, the device weighs only 3 kilograms , but its switching capabilities are quite wide. The set of physical terminals includes optical and coaxial digital inputs, an HDMI (I2s) port , an analogue RCA input, an Ethernet port, a digital optical output, a pre-amp output, and two 6.35mm and 3.5mm headphone jacks. There are also Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules.

The power of the class D amplifier is 150 watts into 8 ohms and 200 watts into 4 ohms , the DAC unit is built on the CS43131 chip from Cirrus Logic. The model’s central processing unit is a quad-core Cortex A53 , supported music services include Amazon Music, Deezer, Qobuz, Spotify, Tidal, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, QQ Music, Napster and Ximalaya. AirPlay 2 and MQA support will appear in the model after the next firmware update. The device is controlled through a proprietary application.

The NuPrime Omnia A300 Network Amplifier is on sale in Europe for € 1,500 .
