Sennheiser’s engineers have created the IE 300 in-ear headphones: the website says that they now make it easier to get great sound when connected to any source.
According to the developers, the model is distinguished by a unique fusion of balance of sound with its tangibility, providing a complete immersion in music. This is due to the 7mm XWB (Extra Wide Band) speaker, which has a diaphragm from a new mixture of materials.
The speaker is said to now move more accurately and with better timing, and due to this, it more accurately reproduces different frequencies throughout the range. The speakers are manufactured in Germany.
Sennheiser also noted a special camera-in-camera rear camera for improved airflow control. This design, according to the brand, increased the clarity of the bass and mids.
A small resonator chamber was added to the sound guide to add detail to the sound. According to Sennheiser, these technologies are paired with the XWB to play “in perfect harmony, with improved timing, silk vocals, and bass that’s both clear and powerful.” In numbers, it looks like this: with an impedance of 16 ohms, the headphones have a sensitivity of 124 dB and play in the range from 6 Hz to 20 kHz.
The set with the headphones includes three pairs of silicone and foam ear pads. Detachable cable with gold-plated Fidelity + MMCX connectors recessed into the housing for better protection. The supplied cable is equipped with a 3.5 mm plug, balanced versions will be available from Sennheiser later. Also included are a set for cleaning headphones and a small hard case.
The start of sales of Sennheiser IE 300 in the world is scheduled for March, but in a number of Asian countries the headphones will be available at the end of January and February. In the US, headphones will cost $ 300.
