PSB M4U 9 and M4U TWM: Audiodo Personal Sound and RoomFeel headphones

PSB M4U 9 and M4U TWM
PSB M4U 9 and M4U TWM

PSB Speakers, which for 10 out of 50 years of its history has been producing headphones in addition to acoustics, will show the new products, M4U 9 and M4U TWM, at Axpona Audio EXPO North America, from April 14 to 16, 2023. Both models will join the M4U lineup using the latest codec SCL6 and the Sonical CosmOS platform.

Both models, the M4U 9 on-ear headphones and the M4U TWM ANC TWS in-ear headphones, are equipped with Audiodo Personal Sound, a hearing-specific calibration technology that works through the PSB Headphones app. Both use proprietary next-generation RoomFeel technology that lets you listen to headphones while emulating the sound of a pair of high-quality full-range speakers.

The M4U 9 on-ears are equipped with 40mm drivers with graphene diaphragms. aptX Adaptive Bluetooth technology provides fast pairing with up to 24-bit audio. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system uses four MEMS digital microphones and two additional microphones are used in conversations for cVc “clear voice capture” technology. Right on the M4U 9 cup, you can choose the sound mode – ANC or active with RoomFeel, or passive. Fabric and faux leather ear cushions are equipped with a “gyroscopic” suspension.

In-ear headphones M4U TWM – True Wireless Micro Planar, received dual planar high and low frequency converters. The headphones also use aptX Adaptive Bluetooth, with tactile buttons making it easy to control playback and voice calls. On their own, M4U TWM will work on a single charge for 8 hours. They can be fully charged up to three more times in the smart USB-C charging case.

Both new items from PSB Speakers will go on sale in June 2023.

In the US, the PSB M4U 9 headphones will cost $500 and the M4U TWM will cost $200.
