Sub-brand POCO from Xiaomi has announced the launch of POCO Pods wireless earphones in the Indian market. This is an inexpensive entry-level model that is equipped with 12mm drivers and has an IPX4 waterproof rating.

The headphones pair with the receiving device via Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connection and support Google Fast Pair technology. The manufacturer claims passive noise cancellation (ENC) and support for the SBC audio codec only. Signal delay at the level of 60 ms. POCO Pods feature touch controls, allowing users to control calls and music playback. You can answer a call and play / pause music by double-tapping the headphones, and if you tap three times, then reject / end the call and skip to the next track.

The company did not disclose the capacity of the POCO Pods batteries and the charging case, however, the autonomy of the headphones is up to 30 hours, including the case. 10 minutes of charge is enough for 90 minutes of music playback. It is noteworthy that this model is similar to Redmi Buds 4 Active, which was introduced last month.

It has similar features. Only the earbuds from POCO is cheaper – 1,199 Indian rupees (about $15). The headphones are only available in one Midnight Groove color.
