Master & Dynamic MW09: Improved ergonomics, sound, noise cancellation and battery life

Master & Dynamic has introduced the MW09 completely wireless headphones. The two previous models, MW08 and MW08 Sport , came out two years ago. During this time, MW09 acquired an improved design, increased battery life, updated acoustics and improved call quality. The materials of the MW09 are Kevlar, aluminum and sapphire crystal, of which, like the MW08 Sport, the outer panel of the MW09 is made. Only the price remained unchanged.

The headphones retained the D-shaped housing from previous versions, but now it has become more ergonomic. In addition, the headphones have become lighter – a plus for increased comfort. The location of the microphone and sensors has changed, which, together with updated algorithms, has improved the performance of ANC.

Master & Dynamic also talks about an AI-powered “high-definition” voice communication system that will improve the comfort of communication even in noisy spaces. At the same time, battery life reached 12 hours (the MW08 Sport had 10) with noise reduction turned on. With it turned off – 16.

The proprietary M&D Connect mobile application has also been updated; it now has a fully customizable equalizer, battery monitoring, headphone fit check, self-listening and audio settings for voice communication. The new product is equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint connection, Snapdragon Sound and Auracast are supported. Color options are black, white and gold.

In the US, Master & Dynamic MW09 headphones cost $350.
