In the line of completely wireless Marshall headphones replenishment : the relatively inexpensive Minor III “no frills” (as the model is designated by the manufacturer) and advanced Motif ANC, equipped with active noise cancellation.
Motif ANC was the first Marshall TWS model with a full ANC system. The user will be able to choose one of three modes of noise reduction (weak, medium, strong), as well as activate a special Transparency-mode to hear the speech of others.
The Motif ANC features 6mm drivers with a 20Hz to 20kHz range and 106dB sensitivity. If Marshall is to be believed, headphones are capable of delivering “big sound” despite being modest in size. You can tweak the sound if desired via the app with the EQ option.
With ANC turned on at the highest level, the headphones will be able to play music for about 4.5 hours. If we count the operating time taking into account the charging case, then a total of 20 hours will turn out. Additionally, the company noted that the new Motif ANCs are IPX5 protected.
As for the Minor III model, there is no active noise cancellation, but there are large 12 mm drivers. The declared frequency range is the same: from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The sensitivity was 93 dB. According to Marshall, the headphones sound bass, but the highs remain clear and the mids are balanced.
Minor IIIs can last up to 4 hours on a single charge, but the case can add another 16 hours (four full charges). The earphones are protected by IPX4 standard.
In the US, the new Minor IIIs are already on sale for $ 130. The Motif ANC model is due to hit the US market at the end of September for $ 200.
