Hifiman continues to indulge audiophile headphones budget models isodynamic New 400 Series season in 2021 was named the Hifiman HE-400SE .
It differs from the previous version in colors – this year the finish has become gray – as well as in another bundled cable. The weight of the Hifiman HE-400SE has also decreased , compared to the HE-400i model, it has become lighter by 20 grams – 370 grams against 390 grams. The rest of the design has not changed.
Hifiman HE-400SE are isodynamic headphones with an open acoustic design, the cups of which are made of plastic and closed on the back side with a grill.
The headband is made of metal and finished with leatherette with a soft filler. The ear cushions are covered with velor and leatherette.
The acoustic part of the model is built on the same drivers with the Ultra Nano membrane as in the wireless Hifiman Deva. The shape of the stealth magnet is optimized to ensure an unobstructed air flow.
The nominal impedance of the headphones is 25 ohms , the sensitivity is 91 dB , that is, a good amplifier is still required for swinging. However, the main advantage of the novelty is its price. In Europe, the Hifiman HE-400SE costs only 180 euros !
