According to Samsung, the fully wireless Galaxy Buds 2 is the smallest model in the history of the brand. The design of the earbuds is associated with the Galaxy Buds Pro, and inside there is also a similarity – a two-way circuit with separate emitters for high and low frequencies. Galaxy Buds 2 compare favorably with its predecessor – the Buds Plus model – by the presence of active noise cancellation, and even with the ambient sound mode.
The clarity of telephone communication in the novelty is provided by three microphones on each earpiece, operating in the “beam forming” mode. Together with the VPU, the earbuds “maximize call clarity in all conditions,” according to Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will work on their own for about 5 hours, and disabling ANC will increase this time by one and a half times. The battery case will add three more full charges. It itself also supports wireless charging using Qi-certified accessories.
The novelty has received a rating of protection against external influences according to the IPX2 standard. On sale, the headphones should appear on August 27 in a full variety of designs. Available colors include dark gray, white, purple and green.
In the US, the cost of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will be $ 150.
