Dóttir Freedom On-Grid: Headphones designed for the active

The Dóttir Freedom On-Grid headphones are designed for the harsh conditions of real sports. The combination of their functions was chosen by Katrin Davidsdottir and Annie Thorisdottir, two-time women champions in crossfit games (crossfit – competition for performing a set of unknown exercises in a minimum time).

The model has received serious protection from water according to the IPX7 standard. Speakers with a solid diameter of 13 mm are responsible for the sound. Hybrid noise cancellation is promised at 35 dB, and the Bluetooth 5.2 module on the Qualcomm chipset supports SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX HD audio codecs. Each earphone has three microphones.

The ergonomics of the Dóttir Freedom On-Grid are said to be rooted in their “swirl” shape. Thanks to it, the headphones will be almost impossible to lose.

The complete rechargeable case is ready to recharge up to five devices at once. He will replenish the batteries of a pair of headphones five times, and the headphones are ready to work on their own for 12 hours – and this with a mass of 9.32 g per headphone. The case itself supports not only USB but also Qi wireless charging.

Available in Silver, Ash or Ash Gray, they’ve won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021 for their design. In the US, the Dóttir Freedom On-Grid is already available for pre-order at $ 150.
