Today, April 15, a post appeared on the social networks of Black Shark, a subsidiary of Xiaomi’s gaming enterprise, that Chinese specialists are already working on developing a new smart wearable device. We are talking about the smart ring Black Shark Ring, which, judging by screenshots from Weibo, will be presented in silver, black and red colors. The thickness of the case is 2.2 mm, plus a thin black line runs down the center of the gadget (regardless of the color option), the purpose of which is still unknown.

Smart Touch has said that their new smart ring will have Smart Touch functionality, so that’s probably why the line was placed on the outside of the ring, but that’s just a guess. Representatives of the brand also stated that their device will monitor the state of human health quite extensively – the ring will have pulse sensors, blood saturation velodrome and even a module for assessing body temperature. And, importantly, the new product will live in autonomous mode for up to 180 days without the need for recharging. This is a rather important point, since constantly removing the ring to “refuel” is not very convenient.

It’s nice that not only Samsung is working on smart rings.

Unfortunately, no one has yet announced release dates or prices.
