TCL Nxtwear G: Smart glasses with 140-inch screen

TCL has unveiled the new smart glasses Nxtwear G. Instead of glasses, a couple of displays from Sony are used here. They received Micro OLED matrices with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16: 9, a viewing angle of 47 degrees and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The manufacturer claims the Nxtwear G gives you the sensation of viewing a 140-inch screen from a distance 4 meters… The device weighs only100g… Smart glasses are proposed to be used primarily in conjunction with a smartphone or other mobile devices. Connection is via DisplayPort mode or via the supplied USB-C cable.

TCL Nxtwear G comes with three different nose pads, a corrective lens frame, a microfiber cloth and a case. Sales of new items will start this month, however, so far only in Australia. TCL Nxtwear G pricing will be announced at a later date.
