The device will be shown this spring. It’s unclear what that will be, but if rumors are to be believed, some kind of wearable device will project a display onto the hand that can be interacted with.

Also, the device will receive a bunch of sensors that will constantly scan the surrounding space and objects.

“Our first device will allow people to carry AI everywhere they go. This is an exciting time, and we have been focused on how to create a platform and device that can fully utilize the true power and potential of this technology,” one of the founders of the company said in an interview.

Humane was founded in 2018 by Imran Chaudhry (Director of Apple’s UI Team), Bethany Bongiorno (Operating Systems Director), and Patrick Gates (Senior CTO). In five years, the company has raised $200 million in investments.
