During the presentation of the Huawei Nova 11 series of smartphones, the company also announced the release of updated versions of the MateBook D14 and D16 laptops. Despite the fact that both models belong to the same line, they differ not only in screen size, but also in technical characteristics. In terms of design, the differences are minor.
The Huawei MateBook D14 2023 has a 14-inch display, while the MateBook D16 has a 16-inch display. Both have LCD panels with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, a brightness of 300 nits, 100% sRGB color gamut, and a screen area of 90%. The case is all-metal, made of high-strength aluminum alloy. The weight of the smaller laptop is 1.39 kg, the larger one is 1.7 kg.
The MateBook D14 and D16 are built with 13th Gen Intel processors paired with LPDDR4x RAM and an M.2 2280 SSD. use the Intel Core i9 chip in your laptops – this is included in the top configuration of the Matebook D16. Another feature of these laptops is a new antenna that provides a more stable Wi-Fi signal. Even at a distance of up to 270 meters from the access point.
The devices also feature a 1080p webcam, stereo speakers, dual microphones, and a five-touch touchpad (although Windows 11 only supports four touches for now).
