Apple unveiled new iMacs that are so powerful that they are even suitable for games

Today, October 31, Apple officially introduced new iMac computers, which, of course, received seven new body colors at once. In addition, which was absolutely expected, all-in-one desktop computers have acquired a new M3 processor (apparently, the computer will be supplied exclusively with the basic version of the processor – options with M3 Pro and M3 Max are not announced).

This computer supports up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of built-in storage, comes with all the necessary peripherals included, and Apple said that this iMac is exactly twice as powerful as the previous model with an M1 processor.

In addition, since the new processor has a noticeably more powerful graphics subsystem, Apple again hinted that this computer is suitable for gaming tasks – as part of the presentation, footage was shown in which very good video games were launched on this iMac with a connected PlayStation gamepad 5. And in fact, this sounds quite real – thanks to new technologies, fresh graphics and adequate cooling, playing will be about as comfortable as on the Sony console itself.

The company has also improved the quality of the webcam and the audio system (now the computer has six speakers for spatial sound), and Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 modules are responsible for the wireless connection.
