An unusual model has appeared in the assortment of Mercedes-AMG. This is an electric scooter Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter, developed with the participation of the Swiss company Micro Mobility Systems AG.
The new model is based on the previously released Micro Explorer S electric scooter. The model from Mercedes-AMG combines exceptional power, long range and high safety with high-quality components and sporty elegance. The 500 W electric motor built into the scooter allows it to quickly accelerate to 20 km / h, and the powerful 9.6 Ah battery provides a range of up to 40 kilometers in economy mode. And in the sport mode on a single charge, the scooter is able to travel 25 kilometers. The battery is fully charged in 3.5 hours. The scooter supports three types of braking – engine braking with a rotary handle, rear drum brake or foot brake on the fender.

The Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter has a stylish look and foldable design that fits easily into the trunk of even the smallest car. It weighs approximately 14.7 kg. The scooter is adorned with AMG branding and a three-pointed Mercedes star on the handlebars, while the footrest has a new anti-slip coating made of soft polymer material.
Robust rubber wheels with a diameter of 20 cm, as well as individually adjustable front and rear suspension, allow the driver to move easily not only on smooth roads, but also on uneven ground. Thanks to the steering telescopic stand, the electric scooter can be individually adjusted to the user of any height. The scooter has front and rear lights, reflectors on the sides and a built-in bell.
The ability to connect the Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter to the Micro app via Bluetooth deserves special attention. The smartphone can be mounted in a special holder on the steering wheel and the user can get various information on the screen – from speed and distance traveled to the state of charge of the battery. Also, the built-in navigation system will show you the shortest route to your destination, and some scooter functions, such as lighting and driving mode, can be controlled directly through the application.
Mercedes has not yet announced the timing of the start of sales of the AMG E-Scooter, however, as well as the cost of the scooter.
