McIntosh presents the original McIntosh-MTI100 device, which combines in one case: a record player, a tube preamplifier, a power amplifier, a phono preamplifier, analog and digital inputs, a built-in DAC, Bluetooth support, acoustic terminals, a subwoofer output and a headphone output. The top panel of the McIntosh-MTI100 “audio combine” is made of solid glass. It contains a 3-kilogram aluminum disk, a straight tonearm with an anti-skating system and a pre-installed Sumiko Olympia Moving Magnet cartridge, as well as a pair of 12AX7 hybrid preamplifier tubes (a separate compartment is provided for it inside the case, shielding the signal circuits from possible interference and interference). The vinyl record player provides rotation at a speed of 33-1/3 and 45 rpm. The player’s disk is driven by an AC synchronous motor with industrial-grade permanent magnets. On the motor shaft there is a two-speed pulley that interacts with a belt drive that runs along the outer surface of the disk.

At first glance, the new McIntosh MTI100 Integrated Turntable may appear to be just a turntable, but upon closer inspection you will see that it is much more than that. A truly one-of-a-kind product, it is designed for those who want maximum flexibility in their home audio system but do not want or do not have the space for a large audio system. With its extensive connectivity options, the McIntosh MTI100 is the centerpiece of a modern home audio system for the modern lifestyle. In addition to a turntable that plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM vinyl records, the McIntosh MTI100 also includes a power amplifier, a vacuum tube preamp section, a shielded phono preamp, an unbalanced line input, coaxial and optical digital audio inputs, Bluetooth, a subwoofer output, speaker binding posts, and a headphone jack.

The belt-driven platter with manual speed change is driven by an industrial-grade AC permanent magnet synchronous motor. The motor precisely synchronizes the platter speed with the AC line frequency, ensuring precise rotation speeds for accurate playback. The McIntosh MTI100 comes with a Sumiko Olympia MM cartridge, the redesigned stylus and cantilever provide improved dynamics and an improved frequency response. Driving the speakers is a Class D amplifier that is rated at 80 watts per channel into 4 ohms or 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Two 12AX7 tubes power the main preamp section, while the phono preamp is housed in a specially shielded area of the cabinet. This prevents interference or noise from penetrating the signal received from the vinyl record.

The 7-pound (3.18 kg) aluminum-clad platter and aluminum tonearm sit on 3/8-inch (9.5 mm) thick glass—the same glass used in amplifier front panels. The glass sits on a 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) thick metal plate. The combination of the glass and metal plate helps resist and absorb noise that can be caused by external vibrations.

Music can also be streamed to the McIntosh MTI100 via the Bluetooth 4.2 input. An external Bluetooth antenna helps ensure optimal reception and signal quality. Analog and digital audio inputs allow you to connect external sources such as a TV, tuner, or CD player. To keep in mind the impact that low frequencies can add to the final sound, a subwoofer output is included. For listening to music on headphones, the front panel has a headphone jack, which is powered by the built-in proprietary High Drive headphone amplifier, which has an increased gain and is optimized to work with almost all types of headphones.

On the front panel of the McIntosh-MTI100, decorated with a massive brand logo (in addition, the logo glowing through the glass is visible on the top panel), there is a connector for the integrated system of the proprietary amplifier for High Drive headphones. In addition to the controls on the device, the model also received its own remote control.
