TECNO has recently updated its core lineup of TECNO MEGABOOK T1 laptops, featuring enhanced processors for improved performance. The update introduces three models: the MEGABOOK T1 15.6″ powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, and two models powered by 12th generation Intel processors, one with a 15.6″ display and the other with a 14.1″ display. Each model boasts a lightweight and thin metal body, a minimalist design, and superior performance.
The TECNO MEGABOOK T1 15.6” models are notably portable, weighing just 1.56 kg and measuring 14.8mm in thickness. The 14.1” version further reduces the weight to 1.39 kg while maintaining the same sleek thickness of 14.8mm. A significant feature of the TECNO MEGABOOK T1 series is the finely tuned hinges, allowing users to open the laptop with a single hand, enhancing the user experience with convenience and ease.
The TECNO MEGABOOK T1 series, renowned for its peak brightness of 350 nits and a 100% sRGB color gamut, has earned the TÜV Eye Comfort certification, ensuring vivid image clarity and reduced eye strain for extended usage periods.
The 15.6″ TECNO MEGABOOK T1 has expanded its offerings with two new configurations to cater to diverse user needs: one equipped with the 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12450H processor and Intel UHD Graphics, and the other powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor with AMD Radeon Graphics. Similarly, the 14.1” model has been updated to include the new 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12450H processor.
These advanced chipsets are designed to deliver swift and seamless performance for a variety of demanding applications. Complemented by dual-channel LPDDR4 RAM and the capability to support a PCIe 3.0 SSD, these laptops offer an enhanced frequency up to 4266 MHz for quicker data reading and writing. Both models come with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD, providing ample memory and storage for efficient multitasking and fast data access.
The 15.6″ models in the TECNO MEGABOOK T1 series have been enhanced with a superior cooling system. This upgrade includes a larger cooler and dual heat pipes, ensuring the laptops remain cool and perform optimally even under intensive use. The advanced cooling system features multi-level heat dissipation and operates in three modes tailored to the workload’s intensity. For high-demand activities like gaming or photo editing, the cooling system switches to enhanced mode. For lighter tasks such as video watching or social networking, it operates in moderate mode, maintaining high performance without overheating.
In addition to thermal improvements, the MEGABOOK T1 series now incorporates the TECNO VOC audio system, supported by DTS:X Ultra technology for immersive surround sound and intelligent noise reduction during calls. An optimized algorithm effectively separates human voices from background noise in real-time, enhancing audio clarity for video calls. The built-in microphones are designed to capture voices clearly and minimize background noise within a six-meter range, facilitating comfortable communication even in noisy environments.
Battery life has also seen significant upgrades. The MEGABOOK T1 15.6” is powered by a 70 Wh battery, offering up to 17.5 hours of use on a single charge, while the 14.1” model, with a 75 Wh battery, extends usage up to 18.5 hours. Both devices are paired with a fast and portable 65W GaN charger, small enough to fit in your pocket, ensuring that you can easily recharge your device and stay productive on the go.
