Tangent has announced the release of a pair of PreAmp II preamplifier and PowerAmpster II power amplifier .
The Tangent PreAmp II is equipped with a built-in DAC and has a full array of digital and analog inputs, as well as 3.5mm analog outputs, RCA, XLR and a mono subwoofer output. There is a 6.35 mm headphone jack on the front panel, and the device also has a Bluetooth 5.0 module with aptX HD support . The retail price of the model will be 200 euros .
The Tangent PowerAmpster II operates in Class D and can deliver up to 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms in stereo mode and up to 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms in bridging. Connection is possible to unbalanced RCA input and balanced XLR. The retail price of the amplifier is $300 .
Both components are made in cases with dimensions of 195 x 70 x 194 mm and weigh 1.3 kg and 2 kg , respectively.
