Recently it became known that Sony will introduce the WH-1000XM5 headphones on May 12th. The other day there was more detailed information about the technical characteristics of new items.
The design offers 90° rotatable cups. Headphones have become smaller. Engineers used more metal than plastic. This is especially evident in the headband. The cups are connected to the headband only in one place.
The developers promise a capacious battery for 40 hours of operation. Full charge time is 3.5 hours. Noise cancellation and voice calls, as in previous models, use three microphones.
Some of the insiders are reporting that the Sony WH-1000XM5 will not arrive on May 12th. Their release is expected before the end of this year.
