Naim has introduced a new addition to its streaming player lineup with the Uniti Nova PE (Power Edition), which the company claims is its most potent device in this category.
The Uniti Nova PE boasts an increased power output of 150 W per channel at 8 ohms, a significant upgrade from the standard Uniti Nova model. Notably, the developers have opted for a Class D amplifier, departing from their usual Class AB amplifier choice.
Similar to its predecessor, the Uniti Nova PE offers a plethora of connectivity options. It includes two sets of optical inputs (supporting up to 24 bit/96 kHz), coaxial inputs (supporting up to 24 bit/192 kHz and DSD 64), BNC inputs (also supporting up to 24 bit/192 kHz and DSD 64), and HDMI inputs. Additionally, there are USB-A inputs located at the front and rear for connecting external drives, as well as a headphone output for private listening.
The player supports wireless Wi-Fi connectivity and various streaming music services, including Tidal Connect, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, and Apple Music.
The Naim Uniti Nova PE is set to hit the market in mid-February with a price tag of $10,000.
