The X8 is delivered ready to use, complete with a factory-installed Ortofon Quintet Blue MC cartridge, perfectly suited for the solid and ultra-rigid tonearm. With numerous fine-tuning options, you can customize the X8 to accommodate nearly any cartridge available.
The included RCA signal cable is of high quality, but can be upgraded if desired. To fully utilize the balanced signal path, particularly when paired with one of Pro-Ject’s compatible RIAA amplifiers, balanced phono cables can be purchased as an accessory.
The X8 is offered in a choice of a lacquered finish or authentic walnut veneer. Included with the turntable are a dust cap, Ortofon Quintet Blue MC cartridge, felt mat, and RCA signal cable.
