In this model range, the Gold Note Pianosa player takes third place after the older Mediterraneo and the middle Giglio. This creation redefines the classic idea of a turntable through a combination of innovative shapes and quality materials. Bringing together tradition and modern technology, the new Pianosa is designed to deliver the best sound possible from your favorite vinyl.

The table’s curves, according to the company, are necessary from a technical point of view – they add rigidity. From an aesthetic point of view, they also have a positive effect on the player. The power supply and motor are based on components from Giglio and are optimized for working with MDF. The Pulse Width Modulation power supply first converts AC to DC and then back to AC, making the Sustarin (hard PTE polymer) platter spin more stable. The pulley has an hourglass shape, due to which it transmits rotation as accurately as possible.

The curved lower part of the body is made from solid Italian walnut. According to the authors of the project, the shape of the base is reminiscent of the landscapes of Tuscany – rounded hills, warm sea and gentle waves. It is worth noting separately that in the manufacture of such a complex shape of the base, exclusively manual labor is used.

The curved shapes of the base were chosen to provide additional rigidity to the structure. The upper part of the body is made of 20 mm thick MDF, additionally reinforced with a 3 mm sheet of steel.

The engine plays a key role in the sound quality of the player. For this reason, he received special attention. The 12-volt synchronous motor uses pulse width modulation technology to convert alternating current to direct current and then back to alternating current. As a result of these transformations, ideal half-waves of alternating current are obtained, minimizing possible vibrations and increasing torque. The user has access to precise adjustments of the engine rotation speed, which are stored in memory even after the device is disconnected from the network.

The bearing system is made of hardened steel and bronze with the highest level of precision. The 23 mm thick support disc is made of Sustarin material (a special rigid PTE polymer). The new pulley has an hourglass shape and transmits rotation as accurately as possible. Every single part of the turntable has been designed to minimize any possible vibration.

According to information from the manufacturer’s website, the player is supplied fully configured and can be used immediately after it is removed from the package.
