Matrix Element X2 Pure is the latest addition to the X2 series of network audio players, now featuring an enhanced design that omits the built-in headphone amplifier. This model boasts advanced digital and analog signal processing capabilities, powered by two state-of-the-art ES9039Pro chips from ESS. It is engineered to serve as a comprehensive source for Hi-Fi systems, enabling high-resolution audio streaming.
The player employs a dual-DAC architecture, with each chip dedicated to processing signals from individual channels. This configuration significantly enhances dynamic range and minimizes distortion, resulting in precise audio playback. The analog circuitry is symmetrically designed and includes robust aluminum shielding to mitigate interference, which also aids in heat dissipation.

A 3.46-inch touch screen is integrated into the device, providing an intuitive interface for playback control and track information display. It supports a variety of music sources, including files from local network devices, USB drives, and smartphones. With the MA Remote application available for both iOS and Android, users can manage the player, access music streaming services, and perform firmware updates. The player is compatible with Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, and web radio stations through vTuner.
The device features a sophisticated preamplifier with an analog gain of +10 dB, enabling an output signal level of up to 15.8 V RMS.
