The Yamaha WXAD-10 adapter is compatible with the Yamaha MusicCast wireless music streaming system, supports the most popular streaming services and allows you to play music from various sources via WiFi, Bluetooth® and Airplay®. The presence of a Wi-Fi module and an Ethernet port allows you to listen to music from portable devices and laptops, and support for the DLNA protocol provides access to local NAS servers and online services Spotify and Deezer. The adapter is also capable of receiving content via Apple AirPlay® and receiving Internet radio stations.
Yamaha WXAD-10 easily integrates into the MusicCast wireless ecosystem: a Hi-Fi player, AV receiver, soundbar, active speakers or a Yamaha Clavinova digital piano can be combined into a multi-room. The WXAD-10 has a digital-to-analog converter on an advanced Burr-Brown PCM5121 chip, which provides support for HD formats – WAV, FLAC and AIFF with a resolution of up to 192 kHz / 24 bits, as well as ALAC with a resolution of up to 96 kHz / 24 bits. The circuit uses special digital circuitry that shortens the signal path, as well as original PML capacitors, which are also installed in Yamaha AV receivers.
The unique Original Network Module with impeccable signal transmission accuracy and low jitter improves the sound quality of HD files, and the precision clock generator improves the signal-to-noise ratio. Thanks to these measures, the Yamaha WXAD-10 confidently conveys subtle sound nuances when working with high-resolution sources.
The MusicCast Controller control application simplifies operation of the device, allowing you to quickly and easily select the desired albums and songs online, create playlists, adjust the volume and configure the system using a smartphone or tablet. The application installed on the smartphone also allows remote control of all MusicCast-enabled devices located in other rooms.
The Yamaha WXAD-10 can also be integrated into a centralized IP smart home control system, such as Control 4. The matte finish of the body and the recess on its top surface give the device the appearance of a product made of fine ceramics. The design is developed so that the adapter fits harmoniously into any interior. Thanks to the discreet appearance, the Yamaha WXAD-10 will look good next to any component of the audio system.
