Japanese manufacturer Sharp has launched the HT-SB700 2.0.2 Compact Dolby Atmos Soundbar. The new soundbar retails for just under 200 euros and offers a surround sound experience with support for Dolby Atmos. The device has an HDMI eARC port and a range of presets such as Movie and Music.

The new HT-SB700 2.0.2 Compact Dolby Atmos Soundbar is an easy way to upgrade the sound of a flat television. The device has an output power of up to 140 Watts from two full-range speaker drivers and two up-firing full-range speaker drivers. In addition, support for Dolby Atmos helps create a surround sound experience, according to the manufacturer
There are some setting options, such as adjusting the volume of the bass and treble or selecting the five preset modes, such as Movie, Music and Night. These adjustments to the soundbar can be made via the built-in buttons or the included remote control. Music signal can be sent from a phone or tablet to the HT-SB700 via Bluetooth 5.3 and the soundbar can be connected to a television via HDMI eARC/CEC. There is also an optical input and a 3.5 millimeter analog input.
The relatively small soundbar measures 520 x 72 x 110 millimeters and has a metal grille and a matte black finish.
The Sharp 2.0.2 Compact Dolby Atmos Soundbar HT-SB700 is relatively affordable and we see a price of just under $200.
