Klipsch presents new outdoor speakers for wind and weather

Klipsch are catering to outdoor audio enthusiasts with the introduction of eight new outdoor speakers. These passive outdoor speakers come in four different sizes and two drive types, offering a variety of options to suit different outdoor spaces.

Each of the new Klipsch outdoor speakers features a two-way system comprising a cone bass-midrange driver and a compression driver for the treble range. What sets these speakers apart is the innovative five-fold horn volume design for the bass-midrange drivers, which ensures robust bass performance despite their compact size.

Klipsch introduces two speaker series tailored for different needs: the RSM series (Residential Surface Mount) caters to private users with conventional 8-ohm speaker connections, while the PSM series (Professional Surface Mount) targets commercial clients or sound reinforcement companies with Phoenix socket connections for professional 70 or 100-volt installations commonly found in retail stores, churches, or larger restaurants.

Both series feature four models of varying sizes and load capacities. For instance, the Klipsch RSM-400 boasts a 10 cm bass-midrange driver, while the largest Klipsch RSM-800 is equipped with a 21 cm bass-midrange driver.

Designed to withstand outdoor elements, all new outdoor speakers are IPX6-rated, ensuring resistance to water jets with increased pressure and small rain showers.

The prices mentioned are for pairs, although individual models from the Klipsch PSM series are available upon request.
