Klipsch, known for its innovation in high-quality audio, marked new milestones in audio technology by previewing its “powered by Onkyo” series of products and portable party speakers at CES 2024.

As part of a collaboration with legendary Japanese brand Onkyo, the range, scheduled to launch in the spring, includes several devices that can be combined within the Klipsch Flexus Sound System: two soundbar models – Flexus Core 100 and Flexus Core 200, Surround 100 speakers and a Sub active subwoofer 100. Detailed characteristics of the devices will be announced later.

Klipsch also introduced new portable party speakers with Bluetooth: Gig XL2, Gig XXL2 and Gig Maxx. A distinctive feature of these models are branded horn tweeters. The Gig XL2 is a two-way model with a 6.5-inch woofer and a claimed battery life of up to 10 hours, while the larger Gig XXL2 and Gig Maxx, both with two tweeters and two 6.5-inch woofers, can work up to 12 and 18 hours respectively. The Maxx model, the largest of the three, features wheels and a retractable handle for easy transport.

All three models feature durable ABS plastic housings with perforated metal grilles, come with a wired microphone and a light show feature that syncs with music. Prices for the new items have not yet been announced, but they are expected to go on sale in the summer.

Expanding its presence in the auto industry, Klipsch announced at CES that its 24-inch Reference Premiere audio system will be featured in the Panasonic-powered 2025 Infiniti QX80 flagship SUV. The audiophile-grade system includes 1-inch titanium tweeters, driver and front passenger headrest speakers, powerful 6×9-inch mid-bass speakers in the front doors and a high-performance 8-inch TriPower subwoofer.

Klipsch and Onkyo are owned by the Premium Audio Company, which also includes audio brands such as Pioneer, Jamo, Mirage, Integra, Teac and Esoteric
