JBL continues to improve its popular Bluetooth speakers, now launching the Flip 7 and Charge 6. Both models have received significant upgrades, especially when it comes to sound quality and battery life.
Improved audio technology
The JBL Flip 7 features a new and improved tweeter in a more durable enclosure, while the Charge 6 features a modified low-frequency driver for even deeper bass. In addition, JBL’s proprietary AI Sound Boost technology is introduced for the first time in these models. This technology analyzes the sound in real time using an AI algorithm to optimize the acoustic output levels. The result is more powerful sound with minimal distortion, even at high volumes.

Longer battery life
JBL has also improved the battery capacity. The Flip 7 now has a battery life of up to 14 hours , an increase of two hours compared to its predecessor. The Charge 6 can play music for a full 24 hours on a single charge. The Playtime Boost function can be used to increase battery life even further – the Flip 7 gets two extra hours, while the Charge 6 gets four extra hours. This function works by optimizing energy consumption, including by reducing bass intensity for more efficient operation.
Robust and versatile design
Both models now have IP68 certification , meaning they are completely dustproof and can withstand submersion in water. They also come with a carabiner clip and belt clip, making them easy to take on the go. In addition to Bluetooth connectivity, the speakers also support Auracast , which allows you to connect multiple speakers together for an even richer audio experience. They also have a USB-C input for wired connectivity with high-resolution, lossless audio.
The JBL Flip 7 and Charge 6 will officially go on sale on April 4 , but the Flip 7 is already available for pre-order.
