Danish loudspeaker manufacturer Dali has launched the Kupid, an affordable two-way monitor speaker available in five stylish colors. The Kupid is a new entry into the world of true hi-fi sound and is designed to introduce a new generation of music lovers to high-quality sound.
Dali Kupid: A New Chapter

The new Kupid is, according to Dali, more than just a new loudspeaker: it marks a new chapter in its mission to make true hi-fi accessible to more people. By focusing on what’s important—sound quality, build quality, and aesthetic appeal—and stripping away the superfluous, Dali invites everyone to experience music as it was meant to be experienced with the Kupid.

The Kupid raises the bar with high performance and a bold new design. Priced at just €338 per pair, Kupid redefines value in the compact two-way loudspeaker market by combining iconic Dali sound with fresh aesthetics, advanced technology, and hassle-free installation with all hi-fi amplifiers and systems.

At its core, the Kupid is 100% Dali, proudly designed and developed in-house in Denmark, following the same sonic philosophies as Dali’s high-end flagship products like the Kore and Epikore. Kupid shares their DNA of precision, performance, and musicality, but delivers this in a smaller, more accessible package ideal for modern living spaces.

With its compact size, the Kupid fits almost anywhere, even just an inch from the wall, making it a seamless fit in any room. Textured magnetic grilles enhance its versatility and sleek Scandinavian aesthetic. The Kupid launches in five finishes—Black Ash, Walnut, Caramel White, Golden Yellow, and Chilly Blue—each with matching bass/midrange cones and grilles. Whether your style is bold, minimalist, or somewhere in between, the Kupid, according to its designers, is made to be seen as much as heard. Their design philosophy is “keep it simple,” and this solution is easy for first-time hi-fi buyers (school or college?). Without confusing product levels or technical jargon, it’s a simple path to better sound.

Under the hood, the Kupid is a serious speaker, built with advanced technologies never before seen in this price range. Its patented 4.5-inch bass/midrange driver with a paper and wood fiber cone, ferrite magnet system, and low-loss rubber surround deliver fast, tight bass and a dynamic midrange—all hallmarks of Dali’s signature sound.
A specially developed 26-millimeter, ultra-light soft dome tweeter delivers detailed, extended highs with smooth dispersion and minimal distortion. The tweeter baffle design has been carefully tuned for seamless integration with the midrange driver, resulting in a natural and coherent soundstage.

These components function together seamlessly, powered by specially engineered crossovers that ensure accurate timing, smooth roll-off, and outstanding clarity. The dual flare bass reflex port of the Kupid is meticulously time-tuned to enhance airflow and reduce unwanted resonances. This leads to low distortion and remarkably deep bass for a speaker of this size. Like all Dali speakers, the Kupid excels at both low and high volumes, making it ideal for any listening environment.

The Kupid maintains a consistent impedance of over four ohms, allowing for smooth operation across a variety of amplifiers, including affordable hi-fi amplifiers and integrated amplifier and streamer systems. Whether integrated into a traditional stereo setup or a sleek desktop arrangement, the Kupid is appropriate for all listening and living spaces. Additionally, wall brackets and rubber feet are provided, simplifying installation in any home.
The Kupid will be available for delivery starting October 1st in Black Ash, Walnut, Caramel White, Golden Yellow, and Chilly Blue. The price is $169 each, or $338 per pair, regardless of the color.
