The Denon AVR-X550BT AV receiver is an entry-level model in the company’s catalog, but it has good parameters and functionality to become the basis of a modern home theater. The AV receiver is easy to set up and use, and the successful layout of the front panel makes it quite attractive in appearance. The Denon AVR-X550BT has a 5.2 configuration and is equipped with five power amplifiers made on discrete elements and developing an output current sufficient for full swing of most acoustic models of popular brands.

The AV receiver has 5 HDMI 2.0 inputs that support HDCP 2.2 and 4K UHD signal transmission, including HDR. The HDMI output in the Denon AVR-X550BT provides signal transmission via the audio return channel (ARC). The AV receiver is equipped with surround sound decoders for HD formats and an auto-calibration system for the audio system using a connected measuring microphone. The entire process of initial setup of the Denon AVR-X550BT is simplified by the Setup Assistant prompt system, and this task will not cause difficulties even for novice users. The convenience of using the device is also increased by the presence of four function buttons on the front panel for direct selection of the signal source and activation of settings. And when connecting the Denon AVR-X550BT to a Smart TV, its operation can be controlled using the standard TV remote control.

Among the additional functional capabilities of the AV receiver, it is worth noting the presence of Bluetooth, with which you can not only directly receive a signal from mobile devices, but also control the operation of the Denon AVR-X550BT. To do this, you need to install the Denon Remote application on your smartphone or tablet, which will allow you to turn the AV receiver on and off, adjust the volume and select signal sources. On the front panel of the device there is a USB port for connecting portable storage devices with music files in popular formats. In addition, the Denon AVR-X550BT is compatible with the HEOS Link set-top box (sold separately) for operation in the proprietary multi-room system.
