A relatively inexpensive AV receiver AVR-S970H has appeared in Europe with a recommended price of €549.

Denon unveils new affordable AV reciever

Configuration – 7.2 or 5.1.2, there is support for DTS: X and Dolby Atmos formats, video path – with Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG. There are three HDMI 2.1 inputs, all of which are capable of receiving UHD 8K video at a frame rate of 60 Hz or UHD 4K@120 Hz. Wireless interfaces – Wi-Fi (with AirPlay 2 technology and DLNA protocol) and Bluetooth.

Amplification technology – Pure Direct, output power – 95 W per channel (8 Ohms, 20 Hz – 20 kHz, THD 0.08%, 2 channels loaded) or 125 W per channel (6 Ohms, 1 kHz, THD 0.07% , loading 2 channels). Load impedance 4-16 ohms. Room acoustics correction systems: Audyssey MultEQ XT32, Audyssey Dynamic EQ / Dynamic Volume. Supports proprietary HEOS network technology. Dimensions 434 x 167 x 330 mm, weight 9.5 kg.
