HarmonicDyne Poseidon are new full-size headphones that came out as a startup. They are distinguished by their own developed speakers made of nickel.
Dynamic Driver with Nickel Diaphragm
Although beryllium has until now been considered the king of membrane materials, the molecular composition of nickel proves that it is a much superior metal for sound conduction. With four times the density and more than twice the tensile strength of beryllium, purified nickel is a much stiffer and more responsive membrane material, providing greater clarity and articulation while reducing low-frequency distortion. Most nickel-based speakers used in audio products are nickel alloys, meaning they are mixed with other low-quality metals to reduce manufacturing costs. However, Poseidon uses only the purest laboratory grade nickel, resulting in an extremely well-controlled frequency response with unrivaled performance.
Ultra-High Resolution Sound
With a frequency response of 10Hz to 40kHz, Poseidon delivers incredibly high dynamic range that far exceeds what can be perceived by the human ear. We wanted to present a sound that was both precise and musical. Compared to the previous Zeus model, the low frequencies have been further extended, providing stronger sub-bass impact starting at 10Hz. Combined with the open-back form factor, the sound has a surreal, airy character and a realistic soundstage. The result is true subwoofer rumble that is both powerful and fast, thanks to the rigidity of the nickel diaphragm driver. The new speaker’s responsiveness also means higher levels of clarity and detail extraction in the mid and high frequencies. Poseidon is acoustically tuned to reproduce your music at the highest possible resolution.

The power of our new custom speakers combines with our tuning expertise to deliver amazing sound. Add to this a custom speaker resonator and open back panel design and you have acoustics that can rival any recording studio! By precisely adjusting the intensity of the airflow through the front and rear cavities, we can recreate a realistic soundstage image. The extra airflow compared to closed-back headphones provides an airier acoustic ambience. Take a break from everyday worries and immerse yourself in music.
Maple and Stainless Steel Construction
Constructed from high quality stainless steel headband materials, the Poseidon feels very secure and durable. All metal parts are powder coated, meaning the paint will not scratch or peel. The headband itself is made from multiple layers of resonance-damping polymers to provide cloud-like comfort and a secure fit. The lightweight yet durable design means long listening sessions will be both sonically and physically enjoyable – without the pressure.
Ergonomic Ear Pads
Innovative ergonomic ear pads are made from high-quality nanometer suede, an ultra-lightweight and ultra-comfortable material for a comfortable fit. The geometric inner diaphragm design provides the perfect seal for tight bass while allowing airflow to keep your ears from feeling too stuffy.
