FiiO FX17 are new in-ear headphones that combine advanced technologies for precise and rich sound. Each side has one dynamic driver, four balanced armature drivers and eight electrostatic drivers. A carefully tuned five-way crossover distributes the load between the drivers, providing a wide sound image and natural sound.
Electrostatic drivers are responsible for high frequencies, reaching 50 kHz. Their low sensitivity is compensated by the use of eight such emitters at once, which makes high and ultra-high frequencies more pronounced.
Mid and high frequencies are transmitted by four Knowles balanced armature drivers, specially developed in collaboration with FIIO. Their design allows for dense and detailed vocals, and ventilation holes in the rear chamber increase the supply of sound energy for an even more expressive midrange.
A dynamic emitter with a diaphragm made of lithium-magnesium alloy is responsible for low frequencies. This material combines lightness and rigidity, and its high internal damping capacity minimizes resonances and distortions, not exceeding 0.2%.
The FX17 body is made from a solid block of titanium – a strong and dense metal that gives the headphones not only durability, but also a sophisticated appearance. Special surface treatment gives the body a mirror shine and protects against wear.
The headphone cable is made of a combination of gold, silver and copper. The materials undergo heat treatment at a temperature of over 1000 degrees and secondary cleaning, which reduces losses during signal transmission. This cable design improves the detail and purity of the sound.
The kit includes three replaceable connectors – 3.5 mm (single-channel), 4.4 mm (balanced) and USB Type-C with a built-in DAC and digital signal processing. The Type-C connector supports PCM 32 bit / 384 kHz, balanced output and a customizable 8-band equalizer, accessible through the FIIO Control app or web interface.
Each copy of the FX17 is complemented by an individual number plate. The kit also includes 22 pairs of ear pads and other accessories.
