Creative Technology has released two models of wireless headphones with solid-state MEMS drivers from xMEMS – Aurvana Ace and Aurvana Ace 2. Aurvana Ace reproduce the range from 5 Hz to 40 kHz, are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 with support for LE Audio and the LC3 codec (more familiar AAC codecs, aptX and aptX Adaptive are also supported). Additionally, the headphones feature Hybrid Active Noise Canceling (ANC).But the highlight is the xMEMS drivers, which Creative praised for “exceptional phase stability (seven times better than loudspeakers) delivering superior spatial audio with improved detail and separation.” In this case, MEMS drivers are complemented by 10 mm dynamic bass drivers. Information about full-range xMEMS drivers called Cypress appeared almost simultaneously with news about the Aurvana Ace series headphones. Cypress will be shown at CES 2024.

The Creative Aurvana Ace headphones also have six built-in microphones. There is Qualcomm cVc (Clear Voice Capture) noise reduction for conversations, and the autonomy of the new product lasts a day. The headphones are also IPX5 certified. They get a matte black finish with a copper tint.

The Creative Aurvana Ace 2 model, on the contrary, received a smoky translucent body with a bright copper tint. These headphones also feature Qualcomm Active Noise Canceling with real-time adaptation.

In the US, the Creative Aurvana Ace headphones cost $130, and the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 headphones cost $150.
