The Astrotec Archimedes ATS01 are innovative in-ear headphones that feature a distinctive blend of a planar magnetic driver and a multilayer piezoceramic vibration plate.
This model boasts a substantial 14.8 mm driver, which utilizes an ultra-thin diaphragm crafted through micro-etching technology, along with a robust magnetic system that incorporates 14 highly efficient magnets on each side.
Such a design ensures rapid response times, meticulous detail reproduction, and a natural sound profile with minimal distortion.

To expand the capabilities of the driver, Astrotec used a nine-layer piezoceramic vibration plate made of ultra-thin PZT material. It improves the output in the mid-high range, increasing the detail and transparency of the sound. Thanks to this, Archimedes is able to reproduce both rich bass parts and airy high frequencies with equal expressiveness.
The housing of the headphones is made of stainless steel using precision machining on CNC machines. This design not only gives the product a characteristic appearance, but also contributes to acoustic stability. The ergonomic shape of the housings ensures comfort during long listening sessions.

The sound was tuned by experienced acoustic engineers, achieving a natural tonal balance, a spacious soundstage and smooth transmission of dynamic transitions. Archimedes demonstrates a combination of the speed of a planar driver and the sophistication of a piezoelectric emitter, which makes them universal for listening to a wide range of musical genres.
